The crescendo singers will function both as a large ensemble as well as smaller sub classes listed above. Each sub class will rehearse each week, and the entire ensemble will overlap for 1/2 hour of rehearsal. Please check the calendar for the most up to date class and location times. The Crescendo ensemble represents the CCCC at major competitions,
concerts, and other events as scheduled. However, participation in special events is based on the criteria listed below. The entire ensemble is rehearsed with a profound focus on the performance element of music. Music performed by this group will be
treble voiced in any combination (unison to 4 or 5 part harmonies as
determined by the ensembles capabilities each season.) It will be
chosen according to the particular season’s theme or goals and will
always strive to challenge the musicianship of each member. During
touring season’s particular attention will be made to the merit and
‘festival worthiness’ of each selection.
This group is non-auditioned, but in necessary circumstances may require eligibility to participate in certain functions (Crescendo Ambassador Ensemble). Eligibility may be determined (but not limited) to the following:
- Attendance
