Our History

Clark County Children’s Choir was established in April of 2005.  Our first season concert was held June 15, 2005 and had 17 singers ages 6-12.

The choir has held a regular winter and spring season each year since its inception.  In addition it has organized several unique summer experiences; from group lessons, to a week long summer camp, to a month-long Singing School.

We have grown from the 17 member ensemble to now over 100 young musicians in several different ensembles and classes, each tailored to fit specific age and skill sets.

In 2007, we took our singers “on tour” for the first time.  They ranked Gold/Superior, the highest ranking, at the Heritage Festival in Yorba Linda, California.

Several of our young singers recorded songs for a national youth organization, and others recorded parts for several numbers on an album produced by a local recording artist in 2008.  We continue to receive invitations to perform at events throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Each year we strive to provide new and exciting opportunities for our singers to share the skills they have developed in the Clark County Children’s Choir music program.  We continue to add and refine our music classes and ensembles to meet the needs of our growing program.  We work hard to make sure this program is accessible to singers of all backgrounds by keeping costs down through seeking grants and fundraising.
